Evan F. Caccioppoli is a theatre director, producer, artistic director, writer, professor, and acting coach. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York his passion for the theatre started at an earlier age and has only grown deeper in over twenty years of pursuing his craft. He was the founder and Artistic Director of Kid Brooklyn Productions, an independent theater production company that operated from 2010 to 2020 in New York and Chicago. He has had the great pleasure of developing new plays with such talented playwrights as Crystal Skillman, J. Stephen Brantley, Sarah Shaefer, and Jack MacCarthy. He received his BFA in Theatre Performance from The University of Illinois at Chicago’s Actor Training Program, MA in Educational Theatre from New York University, and trained at The Poor School in London, England. Evan received his MFA in Directing from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in May 2017. He is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, SAG/AFTRA, ASCAP, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Theatre, Film, and Speech at Kingsborough Community College. Evan is passionate about storytelling and believes anything is possible in the theatre!
